Garrison Academy:

After completing my 9th, we decided to shift to Lahore. Garrison Academy is located on Tufail Road and I was part of their first batch for Matric. The people I remember from my batch include:

Amir, Ibrar, Kamran, Tashfeen, Naveed.

We were taught chemistry and biology by Miss Neena who was excellent as a teacher and even better as a person. Maths was taught by Mr. Javed while Physics was taught by Mr. Ghazanfer.

At that time, there were plans to expanding the school and making new building and they were working on it. The routine was pretty much the same. I would cycle to the school (which was 15 minutes cycle) and then attend the morning prayers and then study. We had a luch break in which you could eat, play or basically do whatever you want to. I would sometimes play Table Tennis or Cricket.

Anyway, I took my time to adjust and was amongst the 5 people from Garrison Academy who got an A+ in the final matric exam. I got 691 marks out of 850 which comes out to be around 81%. I got 10 marks more than my brother and still hold the record for getting the highest marks amongst my family members (I am counting my first cousins as well).
